YOU ARE MADE BY GOD TO BE IN A GROUP
• Whether you are shy or extroverted, you were made by your Creator to be a social person.
• You need connections where you can help and be helped, serve and be served, love and be loved.
• Small Groups are a way to experience that connection with others and deepen your spiritual life at the same time.
• Our Church has many midweek day and evening groups involving nearly 300 people of all ages: men and women, couples and mixed, young and old. There’s a place for you!
KEY SCRIPTURE
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42-47)
SMALL GROUPS VISION
To fulfill people’s lives by deepening their relationship with God and building relationships between members. In a small, personal environment we learn and experience loving God and loving one another.
The small groups of this ministry are building blocks of the larger church, places where people are ministered to, and encouraged and empowered for service to God.
SMALL GROUP GOALS
COMUNION WITH GOD: Drawing people closer to God through study of His Word, informal worship and shared prayer.
COMMUNITY WITH ONE ANOTHER: Creating deep relationships with people of common spiritual beliefs by meeting regularly to share with, enjoy, learn from and support one another.
