Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is committed to providing a PLACE for CHILDREN in the DISCOVERY ZONE where children can learn
how much they are loved by God the greatness, the goodness and the mercy of God how to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL is an opportunity to learn the stories and important truths  from God’s word at their different learning levels.  Children will learn bible skills and develop a spiritual foundation to help them make the important decision to follow Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Sunday at 9:45 and 11:00 a.m.

KIDS WORSHIP gives children the opportunity to experience worship in “kid style” with movement and songs for children and prepares them for adult worship.  Sundays at 10:30 to 10:50  a.m.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR is led by Paul Workman, Adult Choir Director.  The children learn songs to perform during worship service at various times throughout the year.  Choir meets in Room 505 on Sunday morning (between our two Sunday School hours) from 11:00 to 11:20 a.m.

ALMOST THERE GROUP  is for 4th and 5th grade girls. Each week girls learn a lesson from God’s word and work on a craft or service project.  ATG meets in Room 505 on Wednesdays during the school year  from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

SPORTS FOR BOYS meets on Tuesday nights for six week sessions during the fall, winter and spring.  Boys K-5th grade learn basic skills and team play in a variety of sports. 6:15-7:15 (K-3rd)  7:30-8:30 (4th-5th)
