About Our Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at LOWC exists to:
• Reach non-believing youth with the love and example of Christ.
• Lead them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
• Connect them with other Christian youth for encouragement and fellowship.
• Help them grow as disciples of Jesus.
• Challenge them to honor God with their daily lives.
• Welcome them into the shared life of Christ’s body, the Church.

Weekly Activities

We are committed to providing fun and safe environments for the youth in our community to gather, laugh, and grow together in their faith each week. Here's a glimpse at our regular programs for Youth Ministry at LOWC.

Higher Grounds - Sunday Mornings @ 9:45 a.m.

Each Sunday, Youth Ministry gathers for worship and discipleship in the Koinonia Cafe, located in the church’s lower level. This time together is critical for our youth’s spiritual development as they can worship freely with their peers, enjoy a breakfast, and spend meaningful time together diving into God’s Word.

Youth Group - Wednesday Evenings @ 6:30 p.m.

Each week, Youth group provides a space for the youth in our community to grow in their faith, and also in their relationships with one another. Through games and fun activities, time in fellowship over a meal, and age/gender specific discipleship, Youth Group is meant to equip the youth in our community with the Biblical wisdom and courage necessary to face the challenges of the world.

Youth Group takes place during the academic calendar for Orange County Public Schools, and will resume on September 9th at 6:30 p.m.
