Welcome to our Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is committed to providing a place for children to learn how much they are loved by God; the greatness, goodness and mercy of God; and how to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Current Activities

Sunday School - Sunday mornings @ 9:45 a.m.

An opportunity to learn stories and important truths from God’s word at their different learning levels. Children will learn Bible skills and develop a spiritual foundation to help them make the important decision to follow Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Currently, we offer two distinct programs at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings:

  • Nursery care – available for infants up to four years old
  • Sunday School – available to children grades K through 5
Kids JAM - Sunday mornings @ 11 a.m.

An opportunity to worship and grow together with other children. Music, games, and Bible lessons will develop a spiritual foundation to help children make the important decision to follow Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Currently, we offer two distinct programs at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings:

  • Nursery care – available for infants up to four years old
  • Kids JAM – available to children grades K through 5
Kids Club - Wednesday Nights @ 6:30 p.m.

An opportunity to gather mid-week with other children for a fun program that not only teaches the Bible but also uses games and activities to enforce the lessons. Children learn important biblical truths that create a firm foundation in Christ.

Currently, we offer two distinct programs at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings:

  • Nursery care – available for infants up to four years old
  • Kids Club – available to children grades K through 5

Kids Club takes place during the academic calendar for Orange County Public Schools, and resumes September 9th at 6:30 p.m.!

Children's Choir

We are excited to begin a new season of Children's Choir!
This is a great opportunity to help your child/children develop their vocal skills, as well as learning about the power of music in worship. Together, we will learn music that exalts the name of Jesus, and create opportunities for the Children's Choir to lead worship on Sunday mornings, and at other events throughout the year.
The group is open to ages 6 through 18, and will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Worship Arts room.

Nursery

At The Lake of the Woods Church, we believe in providing a safe and fun environment for everyone to learn about Jesus. Our nursery is available for infants up to 4 years old.
If you have a passion for supporting families in the church and caring for little ones, we would love for you to volunteer in the nursery.
Currently, we are looking for individuals to volunteer in the nursery on Sunday mornings and/or Wednesday evenings. Click the button below to sign up today!
