MISSIONS – AROUND THE CORNER…

For 31 years the Brisben Center has ministered to the homeless by providing shelter, meals, hand-up supports and restorative care. They serve singles and families, adults and children, in Fredericksburg and 4 surrounding counties. In 2019 they sheltered over 550 people.

The Living Water Community Clinic, formerly a mission of LoWC, provides free medical, emotional, and spiritual care to those eligible uninsured patients in East Orange County and surrounding areas. It is dedicated to delivering high quality medical care, and total healing to community citizens. A dental clinic is planned to open in 2021 and will provide free dental care to eligible Clinic patients.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives… one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (Partner)
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is a vibrant campus ministry that establishes and advances witnessing communities of students and faculty. It ministers to students and faculty through small group Bible studies, large gatherings on campus, leadership training, thoughtful discipleship and life-changing conferences and events. The chapter at Mary Washington University is led by Jessica Molzahn.
Services to Abused Families, Inc. (SAFE) is a private, non-profit organization established in 1980 to serve survivors of domestic violence. SAFE provides prevention, intervention and educational services for sexual assault victims and survivors of domestic violence in five counties, including Orange.

Teen Challenge of North Central Virginia (Partner)
Teen Challenge provides youth, adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems in order to become productive members of society. They minister at three sites: The Farm for Men in Stafford County, the Beauty for Ashes Home for Women and Children in Spotsylvania County and a non-residential center in Richmond.
Victory 1:27 coordinates and encourages sponsors for orphans and destitute children in Kampala, Uganda. It also supports feeding and construction programs to enable greater outreach. Their belief: When people respond to God’s plan of helping those who cannot help themselves, great things begin to happen.
