Each Sunday morning, The Lake of the Woods Church offers a variety of Sunday School classes that will appeal to your interests, age group and your time schedule.

Children's Schedule

We offer classes for children at both the 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. worship service hours, and childcare is available for infants thru pre-K. Classes are held in the Discovery Zone, in the lower level of the Worship Center.

The 11:00 a.m. Sunday School hour includes rehearsal for children's choir along with a quality time of Sunday School in the graded classes.

 

Youth Schedule

Youth (6th through 12th grade)
Higher Grounds Coffee meets in the lower level. Breakfast and conversation begin at 9:30. Musical worship starts at 9:45 followed by Bible teaching and discussion in small groups.

Youth are then encouraged to attend the 11:00 Contemporary Worship in the Worship Center.

 

College and Career Class

Men and Women in the workplace and college are invited to this relaxed class of Bible discussion. It offers a way to form new relationships with others and a closer walk with Jesus Christ. This group also comes back together for shared suppers, Bible study and prayer on Tuesday nights.

Adult Class Schedule

8:30 a.m. Classes

The Bereans: The Bible tells us how the people of the city of Berea searched the Bible to learn more about God and Jesus. We can do the same. All are invited to this time of Bible teaching and group discussion. Current topic "Gospel of John not Sharing Your Faith," a discussion workshop on talking about our faith with others.

Bible Prophecy: This class teaches how to study the Bible and will offer an opportunity to ask questions about the Bible. Current topic is Bible prophecy and the Book of Revelation.

9:45 a.m. Classes

The Reflectors: The discussion and teaching within this group is designed to refresh us in our faith journey and so better show Jesus Christ to others.

Led by: Bill Engels
Location: Founders Room 402

Family Foundations: Making new friends and knowing God in our daily lives are the core of this relaxed class. The teaching and discussions will draw us loser to Jesus Christ and to one another. The current theme is Heaven and Our Rewards.

11:00 a.m. Classes

Bible Prophecy: This class teaches how to study the Bible and will offer an opportunity to ask questions about the Bible. Current topic is Bible prophecy and the Book of Revelation.
